Farming God's Way

Through our church, Living Hope, hundreds of bags of maize have been purchased over the last few years to help the dire situation of food shortages due to recent cyclones and drought. But looking forward, we hope to improve food security through sponsoring the organization, Farming God's Way. Widow's Fund

Through the monthly giving by LHC, we have also established a widow's fund. At the Nsomba church in Phalombe, elderly widows meet monthly for a meal, receive food to take home, and receive love and support. If you are interested in sponsoring the widow's fund, please use 'Emergency Food Relief' under 'Projects' on our Action Intl link on the contact page, then send us a note sharing that you want your donation to support widows.Psalm 68:5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.

Food relief is much appreciated for these special members of God's church.

Bibles

Handing out God's Word is one of the most exciting events during our trips. The cost of a Bible is too expensive for most Malawians. Their joy and gratitude upon receiving Bibles are heart-warming and remind us of how blessed we are. As the multiplication of disciples increases, many groups do not have Bibles.

Bicycles

Transportation is another challenge in Malawi. Mentor group leaders and pastors often have multiple groups they see weekly, and it is not uncommon to hear of leaders walking 3 to 8 or more kilometers (2 to 5 miles) to visit one group! If you are interested in purchasing a bicycle, please use the 'Bicycles' button under 'Projects' on our Action Intl link located on the contact page.
